After clearing trees on the house plot, the weather took a turn for the worse and it proceeded to rain every other day for almost 3 weeks. Finally, we could dig out the muck and back filled with 5 truck loads of clay on May 15th.

Your home is just beautiful and you should make photo's to hang inside they are better than the ones you could purchase. the ones with the snow would make a great one over the fireplaces or did you think of this already.I'm sure you are enjoying it.looks like you had a good contractor that's hard to find.
