Ice Storm - January 29/30, 2002 - Okarche, OK

The images in this gallery are all video captures used to document the devastating ice storm in and around Okarche during the last part of January, 2002. Over three inches of precipitation fell during the two day period - most of which occurred on the 30th. Almost all of the precipitation fell as freezing rain. Damage was extensive and some people in the rural areas didn't have power for almost 40 days.
