I volunteered for a one day show to display my photography in last December 2005. The themes are East Los Angeles, Los Angeles or the Circus. So I decided to drive around LA, mostly Atwater and the East LA Area. When after a while I realize that almost all of my photos had an image of our beloved Virgin de Guadalupe. Obviously, your in a latino home or neighborhood when she pops up all over the place. I found at least 10 images in my home alone. Most of the pictures were taken last year 2005 in November and December.

I will continue to add to this gallery because every once in a while find my self taking pictures of the Virgen de Guadalupe and other religious icons. We recently moved to North Hollywood and I noticed that 2 of my neighbors have a statue of the Virgen in there front lawn which I will post soon.

I have a clock with Our Lady of Guadalupe on it hanging on my wall for over 15 years, and it will stay there until abortion is no longer legal in the USA. This has inspired me to do the same here in KY. God bless you for your efforts. I really enjoyed this display. Edie

I've have been blessed by our Virgencita in four consecutive occassions two in which I was pronounced dead. every Dec 12 you will find me in either la Placita or el Mercadito on E.L.A. to celebrate her birthday. We are celebrating our 32nd anniversary on Oct 12 and would like to visit OL of Guadalupe Church in Ensenada. Does anyone know whether it's possible to go there from La Bufadora before going to Hotel Santo Tomas? What time is Mass on Saturday evening? What is the phone # to contact them? The depiction of the Virgin Mary has been contested as being a fraud...It is an example of syncretism: The Marian image harkens back to an Aztec goddess which was worshipped in pre-Spanish times.
