That's Clever! TV Show on HGTV

That's Clever! is a daily, half-hour series that highlights the contemporary crafting scene from all over the USA. This is a national Cable TV show. This is a very upbeat show. So you have to act kinda hyper and silly in it.

In September, an email went around in the Aztlannet_Arte Yahoo Group, it said they were looking for Artist/Crafter in the Los Angeles area that would like to be part of a HGTV TV show that showcases crafters and artist. I gladly answered the ad and submitted an application.

In each episode, the show travels around the country and visit three different crafters/artist in their own homes or studio, who will inspire you to try their particular craft.

That's Clever crew came to my home in October 2006, to film me making one of my woodburning boxes that focused on a picture of guitars that I took at Olvera Street. Here are a few photos from this event. Still not sure when the show will air but it will be around June 2007.

Today they were making Jewlery with a wire and dipping the wire into to a colored solution and laying on to paer and cutting around the paper and re-dipping. I did not hear what this is called and where to go to get the instructions and materilas.
