I am fortunate to live by the coast on Cornwall's beautiful and magical Lizard Peninsular. This remote and timeless part of the UK is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is renowned for its dramatic coastline, lovely sandy coves and traditional fishing villages. All the photographs in this gallery come from a 2 mile stretch of coast between Mullion and Poldhu Coves. The coastal path is particularly beautiful here with its abundance of wild flowers, rocky outcrops, and spectacular views across Mounts Bay to Penzance and beyond.
The images have been loosely arranged in walking order starting out from Mullion Cove and taking in Mullion Harbour, Polurrian Cliff, Love Rock, Polurrian Cove, then Meres Cliff to the Marconi Monument and finally Poldhu Cove. New images will be added from time to time and slotted into place regardless of the time of year and date of capture. If you would like to see more of the area please take a look at my 'Magical Cornwall' gallery. Some of my other galleries also contain images of Cornwall.
