February 13

I find it fascinating to see the way old homes are built, and often
wonder if future generations will look back at today's construction
techniques with the same sense of "lost art" by comparison of their
current practices. Sights like this aren't uncommon in the country..
brick over a trailer and you have a brick home. While this one is
still a work in progress, when it's done you'll never know it started
life as a trailer from the outside. The "trailer shape" on this particular
home isn't visible because it adjoins a house on the other end...
but for all I know, it too might be a trailer that is already completed.
It's a part of today's culture that I had never heard of so I felt
it was worthy of inclusion.
