Someone said that if you are using a telephoto lens you are just too far away. You show what a 50 mm can do. Wow! Look at the color, depth, the catch light! Yes! Heck, a vote for teh whole gallery for this picture alone.

Beautiful shot. The normal response would be to turn and look in the direction of the subject, but I find that difficult.
