Hello, My name is John P. Shea, nephew of Richard Thomas Shea, Jr. 48'. It was exciting in viewing the memorial of the fallen Medal of Honor recipients. My uncle and shared a gift in which I have turned into a life's goal, I am a free-lanced Illustrator/Artist for the past 30 years creating the same images that he himself developed while attending Va Tech and West Point. I am looking forward in visiting the University in the near future while we, my family, graphically put together his story in graphic novel that I will writing and Illustrating in preserving his name.
