This is a popular overlook on the Appalachian Trail in Virginia. Paintings of this location have been a popular seller so I often try to have one McAfee Knob oil painting on display for sale. Using a palette knife was an exercise in painting this scene differently. This overlook was also in the Robert Redford/ Nick Nolte 2015 movie " A Walk In The Woods".

Excellent knife painting not an easy way to paint you did a great painting very three dimensional due to the nice texture. Nice use of colors they are happy with each other. Vote+
