While on our recent trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway my son and I stopped at Water Rock Knob looking for photo opportunities. After taking a number of images I noticed a couple enjoying the view sitting by this Corvette. I walked over and we talked about classic cars from the sixties. I had owned a 1967 Camaro SS/RS and also worked as a mechanic while in college. I had worked on a number of Corvettes and that had always been a dream car for me. As I was leaving, the gentleman asked if I would like my picture taken sitting in his Corvette. As a photographer I hate having my picture taken, but this was too good to pass on. I handed him my camera and this is what he captured. I will be the first to admit it takes a very heavy lift to make me look better since that is near impossible. This Corvette did all it could do to help. For a few minutes I was living the dream.
