This is an image of the view from Bald Knob above the Mountain Lake Lodge where much of the filming for the movie Dirt Dancing was shot. A short hike will provide views of Giles County, Virginia. This is a 12 x 18 oil painting on stretched canvas. This painting is for sale but currently not on display.

This is compositionally brilliant and has a degree or realism that I find unable to resist!
The beauty is inspiring and makes me want to see this for myself!
