I know that Antelope Canyon is a popular destination for photographers. There are also a great number of images posted online of Antelope Canyon. My son and I did not attempt to visit the canyon last fall for a lack of time and reservations. Reservations often need to be made well in advance but when we were able to get reservations at the last minute on this trip, we decided not to pass up the opportunity. It was a magical world of caverns, rock formations and light and well worth the time and effort. Photography time at each guided photo site is limited so speed as well as luck is essential. You are also photographing in some pretty tight confines so a very wide angle of lens is needed.
