Dakota Badlands At High Noon

This is not a very good scan but the badlands are so unique I decided to go ahead and include this image. We were there at noontime so the lighting was harsh and there was not time to stay until late in the day. We were on a tight schedule. Even so this does give and idea of the ruggedness of this vast area. They call it the badlands for a reason. Late day light or a passing storm would have been nice from the photography standpoint.

I think it's not so bad after all. You have a good view with the erosion clearly visible and some nice textures too. Not bad at all!
