Superb morning light shine on these rocks and have produced a tone of fire. Your point of view here are perfectly well to let the viewer a sharing of this beautiful scene.
Superb framing of the tall dry grass to enhance the dynamism to the red rocks.
A luminious delight , Dave. BV x 10

Excellent light and a well composed shot. The upright foreground grasses show the tilted plateau on which the mesa is located. Nice idea and a fine photo. Vote.

i like how the verticals (as if the grasses want to compete!) are separated by the horizontil layer in the middle, breaks it up nice, makes for a sweet comp!

I love how you have composed this classic beauty, Dave. The way the horizon opposes the top of the buttes and the very straight lines in the foreground. This is a study in composition that is greatly appreciated. Very beautiful scene as well ~V~
