What a great comet! Not only was it bright, it was well overhead after dusk. That was the last good comet for me, I think. Most subsequent comets have been very close to the sun when lit up, in bright morning or evening light.
Actually, the better ones all put on shows south of the equator. We are due for one.
Shot on Kodak Royal 400; exposure and gear unrecorded on the film envelope where I found this print. Hopefully I kept some notes. Shot between phone lines in my backyard, I think. The utility lines are bracketing the comet; the lower line visible here. Was probably shot on my OM-1 riding piggyback on my B&L 8000 (8" SCT).
