Max was in his prime. A distinguished elderly statesman but not walking with a cane yet :-). He loved the beach...

A passerby took this image using my camera. We were just specs (he should have got closer- I tried to explain this to him but he didn't get it :-). So this is an overly tight crop. But one of the few images I have of the two of us, me usually being behind the camera.
