HeadRoom Micro and iPod 5G

These are some images of my Headroom Micro and 5G Video iPod with Micro Bag and strap. It is a great combination. A few years ago it would be considered tiny; there are now amps that are smaller than the iPod itself, but I do not know how they sound compared to the Micro. The Micro uses an 18 volt supply (two 9V batteries). If you know anything about opamp audio design, you know that there is something to be said for that.

I put all these images here for people looking for a certain fit, either with this setup or something similar. Some of the images include the SendStation dock, which is the best commercial line out solution I have found. It is a little long for the Micro Bag, and I am concerned that it may stress the iPod port. I tried to show the tight fit and stress placed on the iPod port. That is probably an expensive repair if it is bumped hard and breaks the port. Some day I will try to make my own port with a smaller device, cut down even further. So many projects, so little time!

The first four images include the iPod only in the case, per a specific request.
