Childhood Exploration

The bad news is that King tides and big waves have been hammering the Southern California Coast causing some major beach erosion. The good news is that the King tides are accompanied by super low tides which are coinciding with sunset, and that makes for some fun tide pool and low tide beach shots.

Love the way those pools are catching the light.

A lovely capture of childhood curiosity, with the two young explorers absorbed in the tide pools beneath a glowing sunset. The cool blues and richly textured rocks contrast beautifully with the golden sky, while the scattered pools catch its fading light. A moment full of discovery and the simple joy of being beside the sea....V

Fabulous photo of the young explorers.
We are currently experiencing low land flooding from the King tides.
