Palm Lines

A lot of times I walk around the Botanic Garden not looking to photograph flowers, but interesting lines and patterns. I found this one on a small palm tree and shot the scene upward against the sky. The final step was to convert the image to high contrast black and white to remove the distraction of color.

A graphic masterpiece that I would consider as fine art photography. Well seen and beautifully captured. Perfect as a monochrome. VVV+++

those are such elegant curves, and convincingly balanced against the sharp leaf tips...the conversion ups the ante..
