Today I was in the mood for some wildlife photography, so I headed to the lagoon to photograph birds. There was nothing too inspiring there, but from there I could see that there were several kite surfers cruising the beach. So I packed up and took the short drive to Seaside. When I arrived I discovered that the surfers were finished with their session and packing up to leave. Disappointed I headed back to the car when suddenly I saw this Osprey flying low and straight towards me. So I ended up getting my wildlife pic after all. Sometimes things just work out.
