I've been working on my Flower Fields Project, so will post some of the shots over the next few days. The goal of the project is to show the fields in the context of the human element, in this case the men and women that tend the fields and harvest the flowers. They do very hard work in an amazingly beautiful natural environment, and this is their story. The Fields are open to the public and photography is allowed and encouraged, but still I want to respect their privacy and try not to show their full face. In many cases this is easy since they often wear bandanas across their face to protect them from the elements. If not I use camera angles that obscure some of their features.
