As it turns out the surf isn't the only place for a sports shooter to photograph the action around here. Yesterday I watched a 10-round title bout between two Snowy Egrets at the San Elijo Lagoon. The defending Champ ended up giving the Challenger a real butt kicking and won by a TKO. After the fight the two egrets retired to their respective corners of the Lagoon and continued catching fish, and the only thing seriously injured on the Challenger was his pride.
