A Front Row Seat

Here is a color version of the subject from yesterday taken from a different POV. I usually shoot the same subject multiple times and multiple ways- thank goodness for digital. Which do you like better?

Un magnifique point de vue de ce banc sous une très belle lumière! V

Both images are great but also differ on other aspects rather than B&W/Color topic. I prefer the color version because of its sense of depth and the more pronounced light shadow play. VV!

It's a tough call as both are excellent. I usually prefer color, but in this case I really like the mood in the B&W image.

I like them both, but if I was going to put one on the wall
I would go with yesterday's monochrome, I love it's moodiness.

I do like the colors and the pattern of light in this one...the mono version has such a different but special mood as well.
An interesting comparision to illustrate how light and the medium chosen can make the same subject matter express itself so differently. V

this sings a sang of solitude...both versions have their merits, and so both can be appreciated..

The colors are so wonderful. Love the view. I wish I could sit there. V

Oh good, I was looking forward to seeing this today. Now that I have flipped back and forth between the color and the black and white I have decided I like this one the best. The green from the plants and the beautiful blue of the ocean are inviting me to go and sit on that bench that looks warmed by the sun. Both photos were a pleasure to view. V
