Exploring the Tide Pools

One of the attractions about Seaside is the tide pools. Once a year, in winter, we have very low tides that expose pools that are created by the tidal flux. People come from all around to see creatures stranded in pools, waiting for the tide to rise again and wash them away. So each year I add to my series "Exploring the Tide Pools" where I capture a small slice of life with people interacting with this natural wonder.

This seems very emotional. It’s beautiful, but solemn. V

David described it well, that is a ginger step. Nicely seen and taken.

Your photos remind me of my youth looking for Indian arrow heads at low tide on Jamaica Bay in Long Island

Beautiful capture. I always like to see people exploring the wonders of nature instead of glued to their cell phones.
