This is the last shot in the A Walk on Water series that I'll post. I've tried, but it's pretty hard to convey the emotions of the event here in just two dimensions. You see it is not only the sights, but the sounds that have an impact. You can't even imagine the sounds of the cheering from the beach as these kids come riding in on the boards, it is even louder than the cheers from the most exiting surfing contests I have attended. And I have to admit, it is hard for even this seasoned surf photographer not to get choked up watching these scenes unfold through the viewfinder.
