I'm always on the lookout for new ways to photograph the same subject. This shot was taken on a trip to the local koi pond. I noticed an area of the pond where a large aerator was adding texture to the water. The fish were mostly swimming deep below the surface and generating a lot of color. I experimented with shutter speed to convert the scene to simply colors and textures and after a lot of tries captured this abstract of the scene.
