The winter months bring extraordinary tidal swings to the coast of Southern California and the extreme low tides expose areas of the beach that are normally submerged. The resulting tide pools attract visitors to explore this marine wonderland. This shot is part of a series I'm doing on how folks interact with Nature while "Exploring the Tide Pools".
