I was out for a walk at California's San Elijo Lagoon yesterday when I heard the sounds of a hummingbird. I looked and spotted this nest in the willow branches. It was so neat to be able to watch as the mother hummingbird fed her chicks. I think I'll stop back from time to time over the next couple of weeks now to see how the young hummer are doing.
