The Low Tide Explorer

I've read that humans have an uncanny ability to spot the human form in a complex scene. Well I'm testing that concept out here with this shot. The focal point is a boy exploring on the rocks at Seaside, Cardiff State Beach, CA that I framed with a rock formation in the distance. I like the subtle presentation of the human presence in the scene and yet for me it is the main focus of the pic.

An other worldly look and perfect subject for a wide angle capture. The rocks have a very organic lifelike look and the lighting is terrific. The distant climber/individual challenges the sense of scale perfectly Nick. VVV

The center rock looks like a Bull's head. The boy adds contact point. "VV"

The silver light reveals the silhouette of the kid (?) as well as the green on the rocks...A superb mood. V.

saw the lad almost immediately...we must all be attuned to human forms from an early stage of life...intriguing rocks here, clearly worn by eons of water action..
