A Big Fish in a Little Pond

Who doesn't enjoy a trip to the aquarium. For many of us it's the only chance we get to see animals of the deep and to teach our children about them. While certainly not the same as watching these amazing creatures in their natural environment, still the aquarium experience brings attention to sea life and stimulates a sense of conservation and love for animals that live in our oceans. This shot was taken at the Birch Aquarium, La Jolla, CA.

It's a trend that aquariums are getting bigger to accomodate larger fish...great shot with perfect exposure and inclusion of the spectators...V

certainly an arresting image....good points too regarding the value of aquariums...at least the phone-cams are pointed at the fish, and not used for selfies..
