Cell phones are great for keeping you connected with everyone, if you don't count everyone you're with.

And checking the phone...

It’s quite sad how everyone is obsessed with their phones. My mom told me recently I was being rude while I was on mine looking at FB at a restaurant. I am guilty too. V

A great shot of this family enjoying the view, 3 of them any way!
With the textures and tones, a cool black and white. V

At least they're all out by the ocean, not sitting at home. Perhaps she's checking if the iphone photo she just took turned out ok...!

Classic. Here is this beautiful view, standing on a unique platform and the cell phone takes precedence. good catch, Nick "V"

I find that pretty humorous: An expansive ocean view to admire, and the woman instead is looking at her cell phone. Looks like the little girl could be, too. As Lynn said, a (sad) sign of the times.

:) A sign of the times. Really nice in mono. Like the crusty details on the rock and the shells/pebbles in the sandy foreground. V

adroitly captured, and an astute observation in your caption...at least this family have gotten here in some sort of harmony...memorable image..

Nice capture of this family, Nick! Mom seems a little preoccupied..

Great story telling image and a great image. Love the way this looks in B&W and how you framed it. ~BV~
