Simeone Automotive Museum -- "Best of Britain" ... March 2010

This gallery features the three dozen sports cars presented in the 2010 "Best of Britain" exhibit at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia. They came from private collections in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Virginia. Practically all of them were outstanding. However, it was unfortunate that a Lotus Elan from the 1960s was not among them. The car owners' names are indicated in the captions. I'm glad I managed to see the exhibit four days before its March 14 closing. For more information about the museum, visit http://www.simeonefoundation.org . For more information about the cars in this exhibit, go this Web page: http://www.simeonefoundation.org/?page_id=57 .

I took all the photos in this gallery with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All the images are "as is" straight from the camera, with no post-processing, except for three pictures whose captions are marked ST, BR, CO or WB; the initials refer to the straightening, brightness, contrast and white balance adjustments that I applied to enhance those three photos. All the images have been resized for online viewing.
