PCA Chesapeake’s Tour & Rally Committee held 14 events in 2023. Three other events had to be canceled because of inclement weather. Altogether, our single TSD rally, our single gimmick rally and 12 driving tours attracted 651 attendees in 357 cars. These numbers represented about 85 percent of total registrations, which meant that our combined no-show and cancellation rate was about 15 percent.

We currently have 17 events in our provisional 2024 Tour & Rally Schedule. In 2022, I was joined by a new co-chair, Rich E. My co-chair since 2016, Randy M., stepped down in December 2021. In the past, I used to create and design all or nearly all of our dozen or so tours each year. In recent years, I've recruited some guest tour masters. Six of them contributed a TSD rally and six tours in 2023, accounting for half of our 14 driving events last year.
