Bedford Springs Tour -- PCA-CHS 2019 Tour No. 1, April 13

The Chesapeake Region of the Porsche Club of America held its first tour & rally event of 2019 on April 13. The 156-mile "Bedford Springs Tour" started from Reisterstown, Maryland, had a restroom break in Thurmont, a lunch stop in Hagerstown, and another restroom break in Breezewood, Pennsylvania. Our destination was the historic Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, PA.

Thirty-nine people in 21 cars took part, with 24 people in 12 cars staying overnight. One couple skipped the driving tour and went directly to the resort for an overnight stay. Our guest tour master was Ron Farb, who was assisted by wife Loretta.

With a lighter organizational load than usual because of Ron's leading role and of tour co-chairman Randy's car launching expertise, I had more time to take pictures during this event. Ron had designed a wonderful route that everyone enjoyed.
