PCA Chesapeake’s Tour and Rally Committee held its first event of 2018 on March 17 in Owings Mills, MD. Fifty-three members attended the second edition of our “school.” They were treated to breakfast, classroom sessions, a driving tour and lunch. Two other speakers and I presented overviews of our rallies and tours. And I explained the use of the Porsche GTS Routes app for smartphones.

To give the school participants a chance to put into practice what they had learned about the Porsche app, I designed and recorded a special 39-mile tour route for them to enjoy. After about an hour on the road, the tour participants returned to the Collectors Car Corral. A lunch buffet catered by Mission BBQ was ready for them.

We concluded the gathering with a post-tour debrief. Observations, comments and suggestions were shared. The president of PCA Chesapeake announced the region's forthcoming activities and then wrapped up the event.
