Nikon D300 - 1st Outing, East Wing, National Gallery of Art, Jan. 13, 2008

I shot the photos in this gallery as I began to get acquainted with my Nikon D300 and Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom lens. The venue was the East Wing of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. The occasion was a visit to a major exhibit of Edward Hopper's paintings and etchings. As usual, photography was not allowed at this visiting exhibition made up mostly of pieces lent by other museums and private collectors. So all my shots were taken outside the show -- all handheld.
