"As the MGB aged, one complaint was that it lacked power. British tuner Ken Costello soon discovered that the Rover 3.5 V-8 was a tidy fit and didn't require the modifications or carry the weight penalty of the MGC's straight-six. British Leyland soon took up the mantle and began offering the MGB/GT V-8, although it was never certified for sale in the United States. This example is one of the few on our shores."
