"In 1962 MG offered the Midget to attract entry-level sports car buyers. Based on the monocoque and running gear of the Austin-Healey Sprite, it was styled to have a strong family resemblance to big brother B. By 1969, the Midget was powered by a 1275cc version of the A-series engine and had been updated with reflectors, high-back seats and a padded dashboard. This car has the same owner since 1971 and is an AACA Senior Award and Grand National Award winner." -- Simeone Automotive Museum
