Amid the scarcity of car shows in the winter in my part of the world, it is a great blessing that many car enthusuasts are undeterred by the chilly weather and still show up for the weekly Cars & Coffee in Great Falls, Virginia. As December 2012 unfolds, hundreds continue to wake up early every fair-weather Saturday to bring their cars to the 7-to-9 a.m. gathering about half an hour west of Washington, D.C. As usual, many car owners come and go, with some staying only for a short while. While there are some regular attendees, many show up sporadically. So most cars tend to be different from one Saturday to the next, practically making every visit worthwhile. Naturally, the nicer the weather, the greater the turnout.
