The all-new C7 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, the BMW 4 Series Coupe Concept and the Acura NSX Mk II Concept were disappointing no-shows at the 2013 Washington Auto Show (open to the public Feb 1 - 10). As expected, the second-generation 2014 Porsche Cayman and other Porsches also did not appear there. However, remarkable all-new cars such as the 2014 Jaguar F-Type, the 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish and the Lincoln MKC Concept did show up. All of these cars were shown at the 2013 North American International Auto in Detroit in January, along with a good number of new concept cars. The MKC was the only concept vehicle exhibited in Washington, so the 2013 show in D.C. as a whole did not measure up to last year's event. Nonetheless, the chance to see the fabulous F-Type in the metal and to sit on its driver's seat made the show more than worthwhile for me.
