The 2013 New York International Auto Show was held March 29 through April 7. I attended it on March 29. Among the new cars displayed there was the long-awaited 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, which is the subject of this my first of four galleries on the New York event. The seventh-generation Corvette, or C7, was unveiled in coupe form at the Detroit Auto Show in January, while the convertible version was introduced in Geneva in early March. I saw the coupe in the metal for the first time in early March at the Corvette seminar held in conjunction with the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in Florida.
