RM Collector Car Auctions in Monterey -- August 2010

During the week leading up to the 2010 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, collector car auctions conducted by five auction companies on California's Monterey Peninsula grossed $172 million in sales for 692 automobiles sold. RM Auctions sold 209 out of 224 cars consigned (93%) over three days, for a total of $66.9 million. RM's average selling price was $320,000.

I am pleased to share some of the photos I took on the last night of RM's August 2010 collector car auctions in downtown Monterey, California. The sale prices shown include the 10% buyer's premium. For more information, visit RM's Web site at http://www.rmauctions.com .
