Rosellinia britannica

Very similar to the commoner Rosellinia aquila and found on the same substrates of fallen deciduous wood. However, microscopically, the spores tend to be narrower than those of R. aquila and lack the small hyaline appendages at their ends. Seldom recorded and a first for Notts.
