This is my ADU, or "accessory dwelling unit" that we had built so I could have my own separate quarters on my property, while my daughter and her family live in the original house. It is just over 1,000 square feet, one bedroom, one bathroom, no basement or attic.

My daughter is a real estate broker, interior designer, house-flipper, wealth management counselor, and an exercise instructor, and she designed and directed the building of the house. In other words, she has lots of contacts and lots of energy, and I couldn't/wouldn't have taken on the project on my own.
