favourite tree

I must have walked by this tree thousands of times
and taken countless pictures of it
at all different times
and in all weathers.
There is something special about it
I can't say what exactly...

I have the same feeling towards a tree on my neighbor's property that I see from our back window. Actually, we have a better view of it than they do. I can't explain it either, but I'm drawn to it numerous times each day. Your tree here is quite nice - lots of character with all its curves and twisty branches.
