I have to say, that when an old auntie of Mrs N's informed her that we would be having hail today,
with hailstones the size of golf balls,
the words 'poppy' and 'cock' sprang to mind.
Under beautiful blue skies we nipped in to town.
On the way back though the clouds began to gather,
and I began to think that I might have to eat my hat.
(Luckily it's a pork pie hat)
But the clouds began to dissipate
and we're back to blue skies again.
