woolly jumper

wore my woolly jumper today,
a sudden return of blustery winds and snow showers in the afternoon.
My sister knitted it in the Icelandic style when she was living up in Shetland,
I needed it today.
Ski goggles completed the outfit, along with a woolly hat.
It was fine earlier on,
just the weather for a stroll along the prom at the beach.
There was a man out in a canoe!
Or maybe it was a walrus.
Next thing icebergs will be appearing.
Hope the North Atlantic Drift hasn't shut down.

And, that poor real wooly is out in all of it. That's why I don't have sheep--they'd probably all end up in my bed when it's cold. I had a duck.....

Keep that gate closed, you don't want to let the draught in.
