29th May 2005 4am

I was the only one awake at dawn,
Or so it seemed to me.
The sky was changing colour every second,
a rainbow appeared briefly,
what a spectacular show,
and only me there to see it.

Incredible sky fire. The plane is a great thematic element compared to the usual fare. The deep foreground blacks emphasize the last leaking of night.Stunning moment well captured.Vote!

Wow you have light at four. I get up at four and its pitch dark by us. Very nice sky, wonderful and powerful at the same time. You are right, nature sure has the most fascinating shows.

There's some compensation for being up at such an hour, at least.
