16th April 2005, Morris Minor

These old cars emerge from their winter seclusion,
now that the salt has gone from the roads.
While I slept this morning,
it was windy, wet and cold.
Now that I have woken up it seems to be sunny.
I went for a walk to shake off the sleepiness,
Now I'm off to sit in the garden with a frothy coffee.

Now that does take me back!
Mum had one once and we had to clear the straw out of the boot where the hens had been living.

My aunt bought her first car,a morris m on 1952, it was still going on it's original everything including motor 35 yrs later. Did an average of 10 miles a week, LOL !!

Great cars weren't they, my first car was a 1968 Minor, loads of character and any idiot could fix them, you need a degree to open the bonnet on my Subaru.

Froth on!! (I was hoping you were going to say you bought this with your photo earnings :^)

Make sure to wipe your mouth off after your frothy coffee.
Nice old Morris, used to know a guy who was obsessed with these.
