Castle Fraser

I nipped here last night,
but it was too cloudy for a decent pic.
So at eight thirty this morning I went back.
I'll need to go and take a few more castles over the next few weeks...

I walked the prairie as the wind was a swirl, a voice from the distance could barely be heard. The sky was cloudy as the sun tried to shine, if you closed your eyes you were hardly to be blind. Walk in the direction of the sound you'll hear, walk in the grass and find yourself almost to tear. Reach out as if you were to touch the one that's there, she'll be much much closer than you'll be willing to show to care. Stop and listen as you find yourself to be alone, you've just found the spirirt that will forever cry and let out the endless moan.

A humble little ranch. Wish my grass was this green.

Which room is yours? Very nice shot.

A grand building, and you timed the light just right. Camped (about where you took this from) here when i was a nipper.

Go boy. Crack that whip. Churn out the pics. Get the name down for the DB7! Nice shot by the way.

Bet it's got a ghost called something along the lines of the grey lady. They all do. I think it's castle law. Either way, lovely shot!

If I were to get a castle, I'd go for something simple yet grand like this.

Can you go inside them? are most of them just ruins or like this one? Beautiful scene

Now that's what I call a castle! :)

very nice, glad you came back, facinating building, looks like it has been re-modeled at some point.

Awwww... I'm a fan of those houses!
Guest 12-Apr-2005 21:26
Lovely! It does help to be able to nip down when the light is good.

Very nice little cottage :) You will need a pretty decent lawnmower here.

Great shot, the lighting works well - worth going back for!

:-)
It would do as a weekend holiday home, not enough rooms for all the staff as a main residence.
Nice one.

Cool, I'll take the room with the big veranda view. Beautiful light on this.
